Satellite Capacity Plan

2008-2012

• Development and production of the first Telecommunications’ Argentine Satellite (Engineering and Manufacturing 2008-2012).

• Leasing temporary satellites by means of strategic agreements to protect argentine rights over Orbital Position 81W.

• Argentine Satellite System: AR-SAT achieved strategic agreements with international suppliers, enabling it to offer satellite services to its clients.

• AR-SAT presently offers satellite capabilities at the following satellites: AMC-6, G28, IS707, IS3R, ANIK F1, T12, G9 and Nahuel 1.

 

2012-2027

• Communications Geostationary Satellite ARSAT 1: development, production and integration in the Argentine Republic (Launch will be scheduled for 2012).

• Launch Phase: Will be subcontracted to international suppliers.

• AR-SAT has scheduled the launching of at least three geostationary satellites in geostationary positions 81 and 72 West starting in 2012.

• Earth Station: AR-SAT shall upgrade and enhance Benavidez Satellite Control Station.
